A silhouetted firefighter takes a breather as streams of water continue to extinguish hot spots inside the ballroom. Firefighters were fortunate that the roof collapsed as quickly as it did. Sending firefighters into the Rendezvous while the roof was burning overhead would have been extremely dangerous.
